The WPSD Gap Filler is easily installed on platforms where there are large gaps between the train and the platform. When the train arrives at the platform the WPSD Gap Filler automatically extends from the platform side to fill the gap between the train and the platform (and retracts when the train leaves). The WPSD Gap Filler greatly enhances platform safety, preventing passengers from tripping or losing their footing when boarding or disembarking from the train and is especially effective when combined with WPSD Platform Screens Doors or Safety Gates.
