Changi Airport

The 6km long MRT extension to Changi Airport opened in early 2002 providing a direct link from Tanah Merah station via Expo station to Changi Airport, where the station is centrally situated between Terminals 2 & 3.

Westinghouse Platform Screen Doors supplied a total of 48 sliding doorways on 2 platforms to match the 6 car 4-door rolling stock manufactured by Kawasaki Nippon Sharyo.
