Line 1

Shenyang is an important industrial centre in the north east region of China with a population of over 7 million people.

Line 1 of the new Shenyang Metro was started in November 2005 and is due for completion in 2009.

Each of the 12 stations, with 24 platforms, of Line 1 will be equipped with Westinghouse Platform Screen Doors systems, some 576 door sets in total.
